Keeping you warm in winter
Warm Home Discount scheme
At Spark, we’re committed to looking after you and making sure we give you the best service we can. One of the ways we can do this is through the Warm Home Discount scheme, which runs from August 2017 – March 2018, where we’re able to offer eligible customers a £140 discount on their winter energy bills.
How will I know if I’m eligible?
There are two groups of customers who can benefit from the Warm Home Discount - the 'Core' group and the 'Broader' group.
If you're in the Core group you’ll receive a letter direct from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). If you receive this letter, you don’t need to contact us and your rebate will be automatically applied to your account. You are in this group if you or your partner are the named electricity account holder and receive either of the following:
- The Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit only (not just the State Pension).
- The Guarantee Credit element and the Savings Credit element of Pension Credit.
If you think you should be part of the Core Group but do not get a letter by mid-November, feel free to call the Core Group Helpline on 0345 603 9439, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (11th November 2017 - 2nd March 2018).
If you don't meet the criteria above, you might still be eligible as part of the broader group. Have a look at the criteria below to see if you qualify and if you think you match, apply today!
